I thought it was worth giving it a try and seeing how she performed. The brushless motor easily fit in the fuselage and even used the same mounting holes as my previous motor.
Making 3 Old Electric Planes Better Than Ever with New Cermark & Castle Creation Gear
With the Mini Ellipse I had my only problem with a Cermark spinner. A nice red 35mm spinner matched up with the front of the Mini Ellipse very well. The problem was that the motor shaft on the was 4mm and the largest of the four collets that came with the spinner was 3.
Here I came up with three solutions for my problem but I don't have a ready answer for those that want to use a 35mm spinner and have a 4mm motor shaft.
My first solution was to use a motor which would fit the fuselage and I had a collet that would fit its motor shaft. I decided that would be my fall back solution if necessary.
I dug through my prop and spinner box and found a 4mm collet that fit the Cermark spinner. My problem was solved but I didn't stop there. My third solution was to see if my skilled neighbor with a drill press could help me drill out the 3. Drilling Out The Collet To drill out a collet and expand the hole in it for a larger motor shaft requires precision drilling and a collet that is large enough to have its hole expanded. Mike, a neighbor down the street makes beautiful wood furniture with designs dating back hundreds of years.
One of his many tools is a drill press. His is a drill press for wood work and while a more precision drill press for metal work would be preferred, one goes with what one has available.
Using my metric drill bits Mike drilled a 6mm hole into a block of wood that the screw portion of the collet fit into. He next cut that block of wood in half and then clamped the two pieces of wood around the collet so that the collet couldn't turn. Using my 4mm drill bit he drilled out the center of the collet.
The plan was to expand the hole from 3.
The now 4mm collet was used to connect the spinner and folding prop to the motor. Neither Mike nor I was certain that this would work.
PHOENIX EDGE LITE 50 AMP ESC, 8S / 34V WITH 5 AMP BEC
Our main concern that the actual hole might be drilled a bit larger than 4mm as there was some slight circular wobble with his drill press for wood. We weren't certain if his drill press spun the bit precisely enough for tight straight tolerances.
The collet fit pretty tightly onto the 4mm motor shaft, first test passed.
Per my original goal of making the sailplane lighter I could go with a Phoenix and use a 3 cell Lipo mAh battery pack. The Phoenix can only handle up to a 3-cell pack while using the BEC. Additionally, I could download data from the Phoenix Ice Lite controller as part of my testing.
The drawback was that it weighs 1. Close to an ounce more than the Phoenix controller.

I decided to go with the Phoenix Ice Lite as it would allow me to try more options with propellers and battery packs and get hard data with the data logger. That should be fun and fun is what this hobby should be all about.
The Phoenix Ice Lite 50 allows me to test a variety of different size batteries and props with this motor and supply test data. At this point I had the motor, spinner and speed controller ready for the plane. Nearly the entire Jewish population of Prague 3, people perished. Inhe began giving sermons in the Bethlehem Chapel.
Inspired by John Wycliffethese sermons focused on what were seen as radical reforms of a corrupt Church. Having become too dangerous for the political and religious establishment, Hus was summoned to the Council of Constanceput on trial for heresyand burned at the stake in Constanz in Hus' death, coupled with Czech proto-nationalism and proto-Protestantismhad spurred the Hussite Wars.
During the Hussite Wars when the City of Prague was attacked by "Crusader" and mercenary forces, the city militia fought bravely under the Prague Banner. This swallow-tailed banner is approximately 4 by 6 feet 1. Near the swallow-tails is a crescent shaped golden sun with rays protruding.
One of these banners was captured by Swedish troops in Battle of Praguewhen they captured the western bank of the Vltava river and were repulsed from the eastern bank, they placed it in the Royal Military Museum in Stockholm ; although this flag still exists, it is in very poor condition.
They also took the Codex Gigas and the Codex Argenteus. The earliest evidence indicates that a gonfalon with a municipal charge painted on it was used for Old Town as early as Since this city militia flag was in use before and during the Hussite Wars, it is the oldest still preserved municipal flag of Bohemia.
In the following two centuries, Prague strengthened its role as a merchant city. Many noteworthy Gothic buildings were erected and Vladislav Hall of the Prague Castle was added. The fervent Catholicism of its members was to bring them into conflict in Bohemia, and then in Prague, where Protestant ideas were gaining popularity. He lived in the Prague Castle, where his court welcomed not only astrologers and magicians but also scientists, musicians, and artists. Rudolf was an art lover too, and Prague became the capital of European culture.
This was a prosperous period for the city: Inthe famous second defenestration of Prague provoked the Thirty Years' Wara particularly harsh period for Prague and Bohemia. Following this in was an execution of 27 Czech Protestant leaders involved in the uprising in Old Town Square and the exiling of many others. Prague was forcibly converted back to Roman Catholicism followed by the rest of Czech lands.
